  •   I found this place via Yelp. My shoulders and neck were so tight that I couldn't even move my head to the side.

I booked with this place because:
    1. They had a same day appointment
    2. I was able to book online
    3. They had a special for new clients - 60 minute trigger point for only $59

I got Jamie as a massage therapist and she was absolutely wonderful. I also added cupping ($10 extra) to my session. By the end of the appointment I was able to move my neck. I was still stiff and sore but better. As the day went on I noticed that I was getting better slowly. Two days later... I am still getting better.

This was my first time doing a trigger massage and I am hooked. It was better than any massage I have gotten and they really focused on the areas that were giving me pain. This is a massage where you can see the effects of it happen day after day.

I will definitely be back. It's a lot more affordable than traditional places so you can actually afford to do a massage more than a couple times a year.

  •   Over the weekend, I came to see Avocado for a neck/shoulder massage. For the last few weeks, I have been having really bad neck and shoulder pains that pulls up my jaw and into the back of the head. I also have been having dizziness especially when I'm on the computer at work which is not fun! Due to the Christmas weekend, there were not many places that offer acupuncture that was open. I found Santa Rosa Medical Massage on google and thought I'll give them a try.

    1. I love that you can book online - TONS of same day appointments.
    2. I love that there is a private parking lot so you don't have to park on the street.
    3. Clean facilities. Private rooms.
    4. Avocado took the time to LISTEN to me and get to know me and my pain before we began. She was taking notes the whole time.

Those were all big pluses for me. The massage was relaxing and I felt more at ease and grounded after. She gave some great pointers for my work station as well as work out tips at home. I felt she genuinely cared for my health and well being. Although sadly, my neck issue and dizziness did not get cured from this massage (I'm more messed up than I thought), I still recommend them for your injury needs.

  •   I have chronic back pain and a hard time finding relief. My appointment with the therapist here was SO helpful. They were very intuitive and got to the root of my muscle pain. They also gave me good recommendations for healing and pain management after. I have paid much more than $95 for an hour massage at this level of care and healing--definitely worth it!

  •   I have been going to Santa Rosa Medical Message for their Trigger Point Massage therapy for about 6 weeks and it has made such a difference in my shoulders and upper back.
I love that both Stacy and Jamie really listen to my needs and address those issues during my treatment. They are also great about giving me helpful tips/stretches I can take home with me to do until my next visit.
The environment is relaxing and comfortable and you really get your money's worth. I am done with traditional spa massages (that are two to three times the cost) that do little if anything to address my aching muscle pain. I love getting those knots and trigger points addressed head on by the staff at Santa Rosa Medial Massage!

  •   I was in desperate need of having my back cupped before a competition as my chiropractor was out of town. I was looking on Yelp and came across this location. Andrea was amazing! She explained how everything would go, warned me of sensations I might feel, and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. She started off with a gentle massage and then loosely added a cup to warm it up, I think she said. It felt like a massage with the cup. It was quite nice. As she placed the cups, she made sure I was okay with the pressure for every single one. I did learn that cup son the fattier part of your body hurts a little more than the muscular parts. That was a weird sensation but I felt good the entire time. While the cups did their thing, Andrea gave me a little upper body massage with and without the cups. It was so soothing. I giggled to myself when she went toward the top of my shoulders. I have very muscular shoulders and it's like hills and valleys. The cups just wanted to pop right off every time. She did get one to stick really well and it made me wonder "Should I also get my traps cupped?!" cause it felt really good.
When we were done, the cupped area was very risen and it felt weird to sit back against anything but the swelling went down after a few hours. I was a little worried I was bruised in some of the areas but it was just tender.
I loved this experience and I will be back! After reading these reviews on the massages... I need a massage now! Oh, I also won my competition! My back held up the entire day! Thank you, Andrea!

  •   It's been a while since I had a massage, but since we're back in full workout season, I may have worked a little too hard at the gym. My left shoulder, specifically my rotator cuff (yes, it's bothered me before so I know what it is) needed some work. I went to Santa Rosa Medical Massage, booked with Avocado, which is her name. Like good therapists I have seen in the past, she 'listens' to your body, they just know where your pain is. Of course I confirmed it. She did an excellent job, but I messed up that area really good so I'll have to go back. Massage doesn't always fix everything in one sitting. I can't take pain meds anymore, and most doctors won't prescribe them, trust me, this is the next best thing, if not THE best thing.
